Procedure Request

As soon as our customer care cell receives an information request, the request is sent to a case manager trained to answer your queries. He/ She strive to get back to you with answers to all your queries as soon as possible, maximum time being 48 hours.  In rare circumstances, if the case manager is not able to reach you in the committed time period, he/ she will contact you with the reason for the delay.


Your eligibility and Quote for the procedure

A team of specialists trained at the customer care cell will be in charge of coordinating and designing the medical trip. Our case mangers will request your medical record and any kind of relevant information to determine whether you are eligible for the requested treatment.

The medical information gathered will be evaluated by our team of medical experts to validate whether you are eligible for requested treatment. You may be asked for additional tests or records for a thorough analysis, so that you are not greeted with surprises on reaching India.

The case manger shall get back to you with the estimated cost of the procedure. It is worth highlighting that we send you a quote after analyzing your case thoroughly so that there should be no change in the quote later. We try to give you as accurate quote as possible, but the same might vary when the doctor examines you personally.

It is worth mentioning that inquiries made to the Customer care cell are for free and fail to create any legal obligation between the patient and Indicure.

Since the services are customized according to your unique requirements, the estimates come in different formats.

”Standard” or “basic” estimate does not include the following items:

  • Air ticket
  • Medicines related or non-related to the treatment.
  • Any other item not specified in the estimate.


Rejuvenation and side trips

You can choose to go for side trips before the medical procedure by taking the permission of a doctor in your own country. The treating doctor in India however, would provide you with his inputs and precautions to be taken if you choose to go for a trip before the surgery. Indicure has arrangement with travel agents, hotels and spas and we can arrange for a trip or rejuvenation trip for you at discounted rates.

Rejuvenation and side trips after the treatment can be arranged by Indicure subject to the permission of treating doctor. The medical personnel will make a thorough examination to asses if you are fit for the side trip and then only Indicure will make the arrangements for the same.


Reservations and Payment

Once the details about the medical trip have been finalized, we would require a down payment of 40% of the total price for reservation, which should reach us at least three weeks prior to your arrival to secure the booking for you. The hotel and air ticket reservation depends on availability as it works on first come first serve basis. The case manager will inform you when to make the booking so as to get the best deal for you.

The price agreed for the package purchased shall be valid for a term of 4 months as from the date of receipt of the reservation deposit. Once the aforementioned term expires, the package price will be modified according to the rates in effect at the moment of the patient’s trip.

The price balance of the package purchased can be paid on arrival.

If after confirming the date, you want to bring the trip forward, acceptance shall be subject to service availability. 

The charges for rejuvenation or side trips would be communicated by the case manager separately and the payment for the same has to be made full in advance.

Known and Unknown Pre-Existing Conditions

In case you know that you suffer from a pre existing condition, the surgeon might ask you to undergo few medical tests, which would cost extra. The cost would be communicated to you and you would require making extra deposit for the same, since specialized medical personnel will be hired to assist you during the treatment.

Such deposit will be reimbursed if the services hired to treat the pre-existing condition are not used.

In the event that mandatory medical test made prior to any treatment show evidence of a pre-existing disease or condition unknown to you that may complicate the procedure, Indicure will take the following precaution measures:

  • You will be immediately informed about your medical condition and the potential consequences on your health if the treatment is carried out.
  • Specific tests will be carried out and/or a team of professional specialists on the pathology in case will be hired, in this event a deposit (not included in the requested package) must be made to cover these expenses.
  • The deposit (or balance) will be reimbursed if there is no need of using extra services related to the patient’s pre-existing condition.
  • Indicure, and acting professionals will not carry out the treatment that may put the patient’s health at stake without taking all necessary precautionary measures.



Arrival and Treatment in India


You would be greeted at airport upon arrival in India.

You will be given a folder containing detailed agenda and documents about the treatments, which you must sign before the procedure is performed.  After meeting with the doctor and physical examination is done, the treatment is confirmed and dates and times are set.

In the event that the doctor considers that it is necessary to perform other treatments not included in the initial package, the case manager will reevaluate the quotation including the new treatments to be performed.

Before surgery the patient must sign a document in which he/she acknowledges the risks implied in the treatment to be performed and the potential complications that may arise.


Post surgical care

Once the procedure has concluded, the medical team will perform all necessary check ups to analyze the outcome of the surgery and they will recommend you the necessary precautions and cares to be taken once you are back in your country to recover without complications.


After Traveling

Once the patient is in his/her country of origin, several days after the surgery, the patient will receive a communication from case manager in order to verify his/her health condition and post-surgery evolution.
