Pre
Travel
Answer to your queries and concerns
to your satisfaction
You can contact us by email or telephone
with your enquiry. You would get a dedicated case manager
who would be there to answer all your queries and concerns.
It is best for you to send across your photos to your case
manager. Be completely assured that your photographs are
treated with utmost confidentiality and are completely secure
with us.
Your case manager will get the feedback
from the surgeon and provide you with information, including
a specific quote and date availability.
Please ensure you tell her any medical
problems, history or any medications you are on. You would
be advised to fill a pre operative medical questionnaire
as well so that we are sure that you are fit to undergo
the procedure, though you would undergo all necessary investigations
before being administered any kind of anesthesia.
When you are happy with the details, you
can look into your flights (but don't book anything until
the surgery date is confirmed). Tell your case manager the
best day and time for you to arrive in the city you have
chosen. She would make the necessary bookings for you.
After your consultant confirms the surgery
date, you confirm your flights and then fill in the booking
form, putting all your medical history and flight information
down so we can collect you from the airport. At this stage
you pay in full for accommodation, and advance for your
surgery to make necessary booking at the hospital.
When you have made your booking, we send
you your complete treatment plan and itinerary as well as
all the information that you will need to start you on your
way.
Advise: Ask as many questions as you
want pertaining to your procedure or about the whole process
and clarify even the smallest of your doubts before you
begin your journey. Remember no question is too small or
big or silly!
During
your Trip
Many
people travel a few days before their surgery to prepare
for their cosmetic surgery procedures, and relax and de-stress.
You can begin your other treatments (dentistry or optical)
or pampering (facials, massages, reflexology) as soon as
you arrive, which will give your immune system a boost to
dramatically improve the results of surgery and decrease
recovery time.
Advise: It can be a good idea to go
directly to the hospital to save your time and money. All
necessary pre operative investigations would be started
on your arrival and the surgeon would come and see you for
a face to face consultation in your room itself. Please
talk to your case manger about the details.
Arrival
You will be met at the airport by our driver
and driven either directly to the hospital or to your hotel
depending on your itinerary. The surgeon would come and
see you for a face to face consultation either the same
day or the next depending on when you arrive. If you choose
to stay at the hotel, we would pick you from the hotel and
take you to the surgeons clinic or hospital for an
indepth consultation with him.
Consultation
with the surgeon
The surgeon would explain you about the
procedure, what to expect after the surgery and everything
in detail about the surgery. You can ask as many numbers
of questions and clarify all your doubts during your meeting
with the surgeon.
You would also undergo a consultation with
an anesthetist who would check your fitness for the surgery
and advise all necessary pre operative investigations like
blood tests, X-ray, ECG etc before giving you any kind of
anesthesia. These tests will be carried out at the hospital
before you undergo the surgery at no extra cost, since these
are an integral part of the package that is provided to
you.
Advise: The first consultation is the
most important consultation you will have with your surgeon.
Be sure to discuss all your questions and make sure that
you are happy with the answers. For example, it is a good
idea to ask the surgeon to draw on you exactly where the
incisions will be, so you can be comfortable with the placement.
Often patients are quite nervous so it is a good idea to
write down all the questions you have to ask. Breast implant
size is extremely important, as we are all very different
with the size we want, it is important to be as clear as
possible what you want and what you don't want. The more
questions you ask, the better!
Surgery
Day
Every
thing has been booked and arranged for you on the surgery
day by Indicure, so you don't have to worry about anything
except relaxing! We will help you with your balance payment
for your surgery (done at the admissions counter) and ensure
you are relaxed and comfortable in your room.
Payment Your case manger would try to give
you the best possible estimate about the surgery, but the
quote may change after you consultation with the surgeon
or after pre operative investigations. Also, if you request
new or different surgeries, then your final price will differ
from your pre-departure quote. The hospitals accept payment
by credit card or cash. You pay for your surgery in Indian
rupees, the final amount in your currency depends on the
exchange rate of the day which will most likely differ from
the pre-departure quote which is an estimation.
After
your surgery, you will stay in your private deluxe room
for the required number of nights. Your surgeon will check
on you everyday and change drains or painkillers if required.
Don't hesitate to ask your nurses for anything you want.
You would be under the medical and nursing care at the
hospital until we feel you are fit to go to the hotel and
be on your own. Our surgeons and we understand that completely
and would only send you back after we are sure that you
are fit to take care of yourself and need no nursing care.
Your surgeon will advise you of what you can be doing to
improve recovery, and creams and medications will be prescribed
when necessary.
When the surgeon has discharged you, we will take you back
to your hotel and settle you into your room. You will be
given medications and a number that you can call 24 hours.
Post
Surgery Care
A
You will have follow up appointments with the surgeon after
your procedure to ensure you are healing and recovering
well. This is a very important step to take in the recovery
process, which is often unavailable, or expensive, at home
clinics.
The first few days after surgery are the most important
to get adequate rest and recovery. As usual, should you
require anything, our representative is just a phone call
away.
Holiday
As
you recover, you can enjoy more options - such as tours
and travel and explore Incredible India! This could have
been pre booked by you before you start for your journey
or you can always ask your case manager to book for one
when you feel that you have recovered well to go for a site
seeing trip.
Departure
and at Home
The surgeon will tell you your final consultation
- he may want to see you a few times to see how your recovery
is progressing.
On your last day in India, our driver will pick you up
from the airport approximately 3 hours before your flight
departs.

over time, so you will not be able to see the final result
for 6-9 months.
