restoration surgery or Hymenoplasty is a simple surgical

How is Hymen restoration surgery performed?
The
hymen repair procedure can take up to 30 min to an hour,
performed while the patient is under local anesthesia
or sedation. It is usually performed on an outpatient
basis.
Prior
to surgery, you are required to have a pre-surgical
consultation and thorough gynecological examination.
During this time, you should communicate your needs
and expectations to the doctor.
The
surgeon will stitch the edges of the remaining hymen
together. By doing this, the hymen will grow back together
as it heals. Women undergoing hymen restoration will
also experience a tightening of the vaginal walls. If
the hymeneal remnants are not big enough to be used
for the reconstruction or if you are one of those women
who are born without a hymen, the surgeon can reduce
the opening of the vagina using a small portion of the
vaginal mucous tissue. During the first intercourse,
there will be a small rupture of this newly reconstructed
hymen that will be very similar to the rupture of a
natural hymen.

How long is the recovery period after the hymen
restoration surgery?
You would able to return to work the next day. You may
notic some minor blood loss during first 48-72 hours
which is normal. You need to avoid strenuous activities
like horse riding and sports for atleast six weeks and
then can resume your usual activities.

Would
the new hymen be same as original hymen?
Yes, since the remnants of your own hymen be stitched
together along with a gelatin capsule filled with blood
like substance. This would break during the intercourse
to give your partner the assurance that you are having
intercourse for the first time. You will most likely
experience the same sensation when it was first broken.
